Using the words NATURE, CLOTHING and COMMUNICATION Mark has managed to create a very interesting piece of design work. Although it would be fair to say that his sketching skills are still developing he has not allowed this to limit his ability to think creatively. His exploration sketches show that he has made a good effort at exploring the many inspirational possibilities his chosen keys words bring. This applies not only to the form language of his chosen design, but also to key elements of the functionality. Of particular interest is the way that potential buyers of the vehicle can dress the design in the clothing of their choice. This in itself also then becomes a form of communication (illustrating the personality of the owner).

The main reason for Marks work being included as one of the winners however is that it is obvious he has not been restrained by conventional thinking in his design. His exploration has led to a completely unique and unusual final result. With further work on his sketching and illustration skills the judges felt that Mark showed the potential to be a creative and innovative designer of the future.
