Darren's Amphibious Coupe was chosen to be the third place winner due to the all round skills he had brought to his project. Starting with the words SPORTS, NATURE and TECHNOLOGY he has managed to put together a well rounded and thought out piece of work.

Starting with an informative influence board he has then moved on to sketch out and brainstorm his technical as well as aesthetic ideas. Whilst the judges felt that perhaps a little more aesthetic consideration could have been included in some of his sketches, he has obviously put effort into creating a competent and realistic design. His inclusion of a simple package sketch is a good example of something many designers do when thinking out vehicle concepts.  
  
The final result has then been rendered well and describes the aesthetic and function of the vehicle in an easily understandable manner.
