This helps ensure your skills are well rounded and at a high level...even if you intend a career of drawing cars as much as possible. RenderDemo is a relatively new company founded by Mark Kokavec to provide instructional DVDs on the skills and techniques involved in footwear design. Mark, a graduate of both automotive and product design courses at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, uses the DVDs to demonstrate how he works in Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchBook Pro to create eye catching renders.

Whether you intend to draw footwear or not, the techniques displayed should certainly inspire new ways to create your own artwork. The DVDs are very relaxed, and watching how somebody else works, is always a useful way to find new ways to work. Even for experienced designers.
