Photoshop alloy wheels

Alloy wheel design is something every automotive designer will have to tackle at some point. And everyone knows a great looking set of alloys can really improve the look of a car. This tutorial shows a useful method for creating presentation renderings of your designs using Adobe Photoshop.

Written by Allan Macdonald, the tutorial shows how to make use of the "actions" tool in Photoshop, which helps to speed up the creation of your wheel rendering. Once mastered the technique can have you producing a new design rendering every half hour or so. These images can also be very useful in preparing your designs for 3D modelling.
