CGINDIA
Aimed at those with an interest in computer graphics, this site features much of interest.  You will find articles, tutorials, 3d model and texture downloads, as well as many links to other sites of interest.

DRAWTHROUGH
The personal website of Scott Robertson (founder of DesignStudioPress and author of many highly inspirational books) this site features many examples of his personal and professional work.  For those of you lucky enough to live in Calafornia the site also gives the chance to register for one of Scott's Educational Workshops.

DESIGNSTUDIOPRESS
For those of you looking to find inspirational and educational artistic books, you would do well to check out DesignStudioPress.  The site features many books and DVDs available for you to buy (including Concept Design 1 which has previously been reviewed here), as well as a forum where you can discuss your own and others artistic work.

CAR DESIGN NEWS
Very well known amongst fans and students of car design already, this site is regarded to be the webs leading automotive design resource.  You will find design tutorials, design degree show photo galleries, auto show photo galleries, the latest automotive design news, user galleries, design topic forums and much more.  The forum in particular is a useful place to meet other students of design from all over the world and has a high number of users, talking over a wide range of subject matters.

CAR DESIGN ONLINE
For those interested in exploring the subject in a little depth, this site is a very good resource for learning the processes involved in the car design industry.  The content (provided by industry experts) is unique to this website and covers a wide range of subjects including design, legislation, production safety and technology.    The site also features industry case studies.  If you are serious about becoming a car designer then this is a site you should certainly take the time to browse.

CONCEPT CAR
This site is dedicated to the subject of automotive design, with forums, latest news, design feature stories and more.  Not as current and as detailed as Car Design News, this site is still worth a visit as you may find news and articles not featured in the more popular Car Design News site.  An interesting aspect of this site however is that it offers a free web based E mail service.  If you would rather have the more interesting E mail address of @conceptcar.co.uk then take a look.

CAR BODY DESIGN
Another good car design website with up to date design news and features.  Here you will find links to tutorials from other websites, design industry news, concept and production car news and photo galleries as well as useful links to other design related resources on the web.  There is also a section with 3D models available to download.  An interesting element of this site is that is also fully available in an Italian language version.

STYLE4CARS
Aimed at students of car design this site has useful lists of links, as well as a section which shows some of the more interesting concept car press releases from well known automotive manufacturers.  The site also features a forum although at the time of writing this does not have many users.  Something of note is that the site has in the past run design competitions, the last ending February 2006 with Harold Belker DVD collections as the awards.  With sufficient interest perhaps this website could be encouraged to run another competition.

PHOTOCHOPSHOP
Dedicated to the art of modifying car photos in Adobe Photoshop this site has a wealth of information, including a well used forum.  You will find galleries of work from other users as well as hundreds of tutorials to learn from.  For those of you who already have some knowledge of Photoshop manipulation the site also runs a monthly contest, with a gallery of previous entries and winners.  Interestingly the site also features interviews of some of the sites longest standing members.

BROKEDESIGNER
This site has been set up by students who understand how difficult it is to get your hands on designers materials.  They offer
tips, resources that helps design students succeed, recommended colour combinations and lowest priced markers.

ALLAN MACDONALD BLOG
The author of DesignerTechniques has a blog site where you can keep up to date with his life in Sweden as a designer with Volvo Trucks.  Use it to see the reasons why he is occasionally to busy to update the site, or answer your emails.  Enjoy.

BURSTABUBBLE
As some of you may know, the author of one of our tutorials has started his own website.  I will not explain it and give the game away, but be sure to take a look.  It may make you laugh and smile.  Be sure to let us know in the email your thoughts and opinions!!

WHILST we aim to make this site as comprehensive as possible we know that there is a lot of information on the web already, and this site cannot possibly cover everything.  Here you will therefore find links to other useful resources on the internet.  Databases of images, tutorials, design competitions, design articles and much more.  To help us with this listing we ask that if you come across anything you think might be interested to other students of car design then let us know and we do our best to include it here.

Please note that the links here are in no particular order and will be updated as much as possible.  For this reason if you find a site of interest then please bookmark it as we may remove it later to make room for new links.
